
Eastern Conference Player of the Week: LeBron James
The Miami Heat’s LeBron James was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week, for games played Monday, Feb. 13, through Sunday, Feb. 19. James led Miami to a 4-0 week, averaging 27.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.0 steals. James shot .623 from the field, .905 from the foul line and .500 from distance, tallying 25 or more points three times, and posting a 35-point effort on Feb. 13 during a 114-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The NBA announced that Miami HEAT forward LeBron James was named the Eastern Conference Player of Week for games played January 2, through January 8. This marks the 33rd time James has earned Player of the Week accolades in his career, the most times a player has earned the honors in NBA history. It also marks the 35th time in franchise history a HEAT player has earned Player of the Week honors and the seventh time James has earned the honor as a member of the HEAT.
He appeared in three games, averaging 31.0 points, 9.3 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 1.33 steals and 38.0 minutes while shooting 60.7 percent (34-of-56) from the field. He recorded one double-double as he led the team in scoring in all three games he appeared while also leading the team in assists and minutes twice each and in steals once.
